At least that is what we keep hearing from our guests. We dress the bed in 500 TC Egyptian cotton sheets and an all-natural linen cover. Oh, and pillows — lots and lots of pillows.

Sometimes you just need to work. Sit at the vintage desk. Need more space, perhaps for someone beside you? The table enlarges in one swoop. Caffeine is for grabs. In the drawers: writing essentials, chargers, the cable you forgot.

Step through the arched doors into a studio shaped around calm, light and thoughtful detail. The garden is yours; the city is a direct bus away.

Dorpsstraat 98 sits on a quiet street with a garden, patio and canal-side calm. Schiphol is about ten minutes away. Direct buses to Amsterdam stop outside. Waterfront cafés are a short walk.
